What is Kawaii Not?

Kawaii Not is a four panel webcomic, typically featuring cute versions of everyday objects doing and saying some crazy stuff. Hopefully it's funny. Or maybe you're just dead inside.

What the hell does kawaii not mean anyway?

Well, kawaii is the Japanese term for cute, as in, "look at the fuzzy kitten, he's so kawaii", and not is an English term meaning "not". It's that simple.

Author! Author!

That's me, Meghan Murphy -- nice to meet you. I'm a freelance illustrator, and you can always see more of my work over at my online portfolio Murphypop.

What is the icon section all about?

Those are all the 100x100 Kawaii Not-themed avatars that you can use in your LiveJournal, or any other online journal/blog site. Spread the weirdness!

Can I make my own icons from Kawaii Not?

Go right ahead! All I ask is that you credit Kawaii Not as the source material.

Where can I purchase fine Kawaii Not merchandise?

There are 1 inch buttons (and sometimes t-shirts) available over at the Kawaii Not Shop.

There are Kawaii Not buttons and stickers available wholesale through Yujean/Netsales - some of which you can buy at most Hot Topic stores.

You can also now get the first 100 strips in printed form via Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, or your local bookstore.
